There are a total of 15 stops for Loople Sendai.Starting from Sendai Station, this 70-minute tour takes visitors from central Sendai, where they can enjoy shopping and sightseeing, to the Aobayama area, where the history of DATE Masamune, the military commander who founded the Sendai Domain, is preserved, and back to central Sendai.

The Ichibancho area is the southern entrance to a 1.5-kilometer arcade street that is the central spot for shopping and dining in Sendai.

Located along Jozenji-dori Avenue, a symbolic street in Sendai, this cultural complex includes a library, media center, gallery, and other facilities.

Designed by ITO Toyo, one of Japan’s leading architects, this ingenious building, with its pillars made of uneven tubular steel pipes visible from the outside, blends beautifully with the rows of zelkova trees and attracts many tourists from Japan and abroad.

How to ride
1: Check the timetable at the Loople Sendai bus stop and wait for the next bus. (Buses run every 20 minutes.)
2: Board buses at the center door.
3: As you approach your destination bus stop, press the button inside the car to indicate your intention to get off the bus. (Multilingual information monitors are available inside the bus.)
4: When exiting the bus, pay the fare at the front of the bus next to the driver’s seat and exit from the front door. (Pay in cash or with prepaid IC transportation cards (Suica, PASMO, etc.). Credit cards are not accepted.)
